Severe Behaviors: starting at $180 and up

A. Aggression Control: Although most aggression is fear based, it can sometimes be predatorial or a learned behavior.  Unlike jumping or pulling on the leash, aggression is more psychological than just the behavior itself.  When it comes to aggression we must deal with the root that causes the aggression and train the dog from inside out rather than outside in, meaning, we need to change the perception of how the dog sees or feels about the stimuli, in order to change their emotional response, in order to change their behavior.

B. Reactivity: Living in Toronto, our city by-law requires that all dogs need to be on leash while in public areas. We notice that more and more dog owners encounter a reactive behavior from their dog when seeing another dog. The problem is many owners or even trainers will label this behavior as aggression. The truth about reactivity is that it is not always aggression. Sometimes, your dog is showing frustration or fear when he sees another dog. The worst thing is the owner reacting to their dog's escalating behaviors either through correction or by tightening the leash.  At CaptainK9, we want to teach you and your dog that there is a better way, by providing an alternative behavior for you to get what you want or avoid what you fear by being proactive rather than reactive.

C. Resource guarding: food/toys/bone

D. Separation anxiety

E. Excessive barking
